Student Placement Opportunities at The Glen Group

The Glen Group offers students the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge and skills in a real-world, professional setting. Our placements provide hands-on experience that complements your studies and supports your growth in a practical workplace environment.

Student placements are available at both The Glen for Men and The Glen for Women. Our Therapeutic Worker Champions provide guidance and support to students undertaking courses in:

  • Community Services
  • Mental Health
  • Alcohol and Other Drugs
  • Indigenous Health

If you’re interested in a student placement, please complete the Student Placement Form, which collects the following details:

  • Proposed start and end dates
  • Course name, institute, and contact information
  • Required hours/days and your availability
  • Learning outcomes and tasks
  • Level of supervision required
