At The Glen we do our best to help everyone who asks for our support. If we are unable to offer you a place in our program, we’ll refer you to more specialised services.

We are not a dual diagnosis rehabilitation centre. We are unable to accept you if you are on certain medications such as methadone or buprenorphine. Find contact details for dual diagnosis rehabilitation centres.

The Glen is not a detox centre. You will need to complete a detox program before you can start the program at The Glen. Find contact details for detox centres. We work closely with Marumali. 

Our services do not include an opioid treatment program (OTP). Find contact details for OTP services.

We may ask for a police check before you apply.

The Glen will support you even if you have a criminal record. However, we are unable to accept clients who have a history of the following types of offences.

• Assault of a serious nature
• Assault or robbery involving a weapon of any description
• Sexual or indecent assault
• Arson
• Murder or Manslaughter
• Supplying a prohibited drug
